This is the Collage Artist Gallery and Studio.
Jacqueline L O V E S using high fashion magazines and multi media (also present are colored pencils, graphite, metallic gilding, watercolor and anything else Jacqueline is inspired to include). These designs are 8.5×11 to 22×30, however, she envisioned them on huge 8′ canvases hanging in corporate offices. Why high fashion mags? The quality of printing: Paper, Ink, photo composition, texture, fonts, design at large… it’s not about the image on the page, but rather, the blend of color, the pattern, the texture… the choices present a challenge: what shape to cut, placement… spacial relationships of the pieces to the edges of the field… all the composition elements of design. They are all present in these works.
