DRAWING: DOODLE GREETINGS

Here is an elaboration of the initial explanation of my DOODLING…

Once upon a time, there was a ninth grade girl who loved her English teacher. His favorite song was Duke of Earl. Somedays he would walk up and down the isles singing it. One day, when he was reciting “the quality of mercy is not strained” in The Merchant of Venice, The handsome, young, 9th grade English teacher glanced up to where the female student sat in the first row, 4th seat back, diligently peering down at the paper on her desk . Stopping his ‘dukely’ recitation, Mr. Walz said, “Jackie, pay attention!” Her reply was simple,”if my hand isn’t moving I can’t hear you!” He never obstructed her, ever again. Jacqueline’s Doodling was born to Shakespeare: “The quality of mercy is not strained” .

Decades later, as a retired high school art teacher, Jacqueline substitutes in a local high school. She creates magnificent Doodles throughout the day, as students do their class assignments. When the students look at her art they are instantly in awe of her.

Doodle Greetings were born from Jacqueline’s remarkable ease and flow design, inspiring her to create greeting cards — They are gifts to behold. Hand writing a personal note in the blank interior has become such a rare event in this digital age… mailing it to someone special, or framing a DOODLE GREETING for yourself, becomes a healing memory.
